Approximately 2 hours drive from Krabi, including the local ferry crossings. Boat services (November to May) also run to Koh Lanta from Koh Phi Phi (1 hour) and Krabi (2 hours, 30 minutes). Krabi Airport is approximately 90 minutes drive away.

The 99 bungalows of the Lanta Island Resort covers an area of 15 rai (almost 6 acres). The southern style bungalows are tastefully furnished with private balconies and breathtaking views of the Andaman sea. .
